From Colombia and across South America, Año Viejo is a New Year tradition where people create a doll that holds what they want to leave behind from the old year and then burn it to welcome protection and renewal.

We will make small effigies together that you can take home to bless with your intentions and burn on New Year’s Eve as a ritual of letting go.

All materials sourced can be safely burned, including cotton fabrics, wood buttons and beads, and sawdust for filling.

Cost is $15 dollars with all materials, traditional Colombian snacks + drinks included. No experience is needed, just your heart, your memories of home, and your desire to release what no longer serves you.
